About Me

Before I was even born, my mother owned a craft store in Rosemount, MN. While growing up, she was always making things....and was good at it! Early in high school, my mom helped me make my first t-shirts. King Elmo (yes, I was the weird teenager obsessed with Elmo!) and World Peace, with an Earth peace sign. All with just puffy paint! I so wish I still had those shirts. When I was 17, I lost my mom to breast cancer. I didn't craft much at all for years. It wasn't until I had my 2 kids that I would start again. I added ribbon to overalls for my daughter when she was a baby to personalize it, I made them each a special gymnastics shirt (using moms puffy paint method!) when they were toddlers. I did their birthday cakes, took semiprofessional pictures, and did any little kid crafts I could think of with them. By this time, I had a cutting machine and would make all kinds of things from card stock and paper. Cards, calendars, 3D houses and more. This is when a friend introduced me to HTV, heat transfer vinyl. That was over 10 years ago! I have been making shirts ever since and have also expanded to more. Tumblers, resin art, signs, just about anything you could think of! It would be my dream to succeed with a craft business. I know my mom would be proud!

(my mom and I at about 14 years old)

I now live with my husband (Kyle), our two children (Tori and Joe) and our dogs (Spanky, Dottie and Gus) in Faribault, MN. 5 years ago, we built our dream home, which includes an amazing craft room! With their support, and the new room as the best home base ever....Glitter Puppy Studio was born!

Why Glitter Puppy Studio you ask? It combines 2 of my most favorite things! Glitter and puppies!! <3 I also love New Kids on the Block, Baby Yoda (Grogu) and most things Disney.
